With their magic being unpredictable, Nory, Elliott, Andres, and Bax are sent to the upside-down magic room at Dunwiddle Magic School.

Abby tries to use the magic mirror to get to her friend's house, but she ends up with her brother in the tale of Little Red Riding Hood; where, having accidently knocked out the Huntsman, they set out to save Red (named Lali) and her rather unpleasant grandmother themselves--but end up having to save the wolf (who actually seems a lot nicer then Lali's grandmother), and discovering a surprising secret about their own Nana.

The magic mirror has a crack and it sends Abby, Jonah, and Prince into the mixed up tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and they soon find that Goldy is in need of a lot of gold to get her father out of jail, and so they find themselves negotiating between the Bears, who want honey, and Rumpelstiltskin, who just wants a friend or two--but King Ned is just plain greedy and somehow the children and Goldy's father have to escape from the king's jail,...

In their ninth journey through the magic mirror Abby and Jonah find themselves in the tale of Aladdin, and after giving the hero of the story a bloody nose in a game of dodge ball, they take his place with the evil magician looking for the magic lamp--and things continue to go down hill from there.

Nory, Bax, and their friends are in a special class at Dunwiddle Magic School, a class for children whose magic is unpredictable--and while Nory is finding an outlet for her dritten-self (a combination of a kitten and dragon), in the kittenball team, Bax is worried because all he can do is turn into a rock, and nobody knows why.

In this trip through the magic mirror, Abby and Jonah find themselves in the tale of Hansel and Gretel, where they have to deal with the witch and hope the portal will open so they can get home.

In this third adventure, Abby, her brother Jonah, and her friend Robin get sucked into the magic mirror and end up in the story of Sleeping Beauty, but when Robin pricks her finger and uses up the sleeping spell, Abby has to come up with a clever solution and a new happily-ever-after.

Instead of the usual fairy tale, Abby finds herself in the middle of a book, Alice in Wonderland, with two of her friends, plus bossy Penny (who is definitely not a friend), and in order to get back to reality she must solve a curious riddle, find one of her friends who is missing, and somehow avoid getting her head cut off by the Red Queen--and figure out what she is going to tell the other girls if they ever get out of Wonderland.
