Inside they find a tome which, when opened, releases a powerful magic gateway in the form of a tornado. The three friends appear in the middle of a battle of short warriors. Kevin and Peter are pushed into a field of flowers where the minuscule fighters dare not follow. Mary, manages to outrun her pursuers for a while, but is finally caught. Astonishingly, she is saved by a tall "man" made of sticks and with a pumpkin for a head!
