The Second Edition is shorter and easier to read. It leaves out much of the least important information. In addition it places more focus on Critical Thinking and adds a new concept - How we can learn with our brain turned ON. All too often, even the best students read a chapter or take notes during lectures with very little thinking. This is the book I wish someone had written for me. It would have made my college years easier. I would have learned and remembered far more.
