Description
In 1956, Colin Pwell enrolled int he Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) as a college sophomore. He didn't realize then that he would devote his life to the military-or that he would one day be the first black man to rise to the very top of its ranks. Soon, Colin Powell oversaw the rescue of the nation of Kuwait, and became a hero to many Americans.
