Description
[Superman] Scientist Jor-El builds a spaceship to send his infant son, Kal-El, away from the doomed alien planet of Krypton. The child lands on Earth where he is discovered by farmers, Jonathan and Martha Kent, who raise him as their son and name him Clark. As he grows, Clark discovers he has superhuman abilities and vows to protect his adopted homeworld. Clark maintains his secret identity as a newspaper reporter in the city of Metropolis, but helps mankind under the legendary guise of Superman, the man of steel.

[Superman II] After three Kryptonian criminals escape imprisonment from the Phantom Zone, they discover they have superhuman abilities that rival those of Superman. Led by General Zod, the trio head to Earth where they plan to enslave the planet with the help of Lex Luthor. Meanwhile, the man of steel must make the difficult decision to live a mortal life as Clark Kent or retain his powers as Superman and remain the Earth's protector.
