Notes

Description
When detective Regan Pescoli drives to Sheriff Dan Grayson's house to present her resignation, she's not expecting to find him shot and bleeding out on the frozen ground. With Grayson barely clinging to life and the entire police department in shock, Pescoli feels compelled to stay on the force until the case is solved. She and detective Selena Alvarez work to whittle down the list of suspects, but the case becomes more personal and more dangerous as it progresses. After a prominent judge's body is found, the press receive a warning from the killer: "Who's next?"--and Pescoli and Alvarez are at the top of his list.
