Description
The Southeast Kansas Library System is one of seven regional library systems in Kansas created following passage of the library systems law by the 1965 legislature. Beginning services in 1965 and legally established in June 1966, SEKLS is celebrating its 50th anniversary during 2016. "Booking along since '66" is a look at the history of SEKLS. Quotes from oral histories recorded by former and current staff members, documents, and other sources make a lively, informative and very readable history.
