Description
Quinn Taylor is a boy growing up on a central Kansas farm in the 70s. He loves the game of baseball, but has a dad who hates sports. For Quinn to keep following his dream of playing the game, he must extract help from his mom, a brother, and a friend. Testing Quinn's love for baseball are several obstacles to overcome: dealing with God, a distracting girl, and other family members.
This semi-autobiographical novel was inspired by the author's memories of the Olmitz, Kansas, baseball seasons of the 1970s.
