Richard Brown, Darlene Edwards, Bryan Sheppard, Frank Sheppard, and Skip Sheppard were convicted in 1997 of causing the deaths of six Kansas City firefighters killed in an arson-fueled explosion on November 29, 1988"-- ECIP prologue.
