Volume 2 of a projected 4-volume set covering General Al Gray's years as a Marine. Volume 1 recounted his years as an enlisted Marine, his commissioning and his years through his promotion to Lieutenant Colonel, including 3 years in Vietnam. Volume 2 continues his story as a field grade officer, culminating when he directed the evacuation of Saigon at the end of the Vietnam War in 1975.--Publisher.
