This autobiography originated as a series of letters from the Reverend Benjamin Matchett to his daughter, Vesta, written between 1919 and 1922. For his birthday in 1923 Vesta presented him with this typed version of his life story. Matchett served as a clergyman in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma during a career.
